Swiss Exports Log Stronger Growth In November
Swiss export growth accelerated in November, led by a surge in overseas sales of watches as well machinery and electronic products, the Federal Customs Administration said Tuesday.
Exports increased 7.4% in November, faster than a 1.9% growth seen in the previous month. During January to November period, exports grew 7% compared to the same period last year.
The trade surplus fell to CHF 1.9 billion in November from CHF 2.05 billion recorded in October as growth in imports outweighed that of exports.
