A Campbell River woman whose quest for the perfect wedding dress took her all the way to New York City earlier this year will be featured on a popular U.S. TV show next week.plug2010

Eliza Thomson-Hay and a group of female family members will be featured on Say Yes to the Dress,floorsocks a hit show on TLC, on Friday,cctv cameras Oct. 22, according to TLC spokesperson Danielle Pasquariello. Thomson-Hay, her family and about 50 friends will be gathering at a local pub before the show starts at 8 p.m. that evening to watch the premiere of the episode.

"I'm excited and I'm nervous," Thomson-Hay said.

Thomson-Hay and a group of family members - her mother, grandmother, two sisters and her brother's fiancee - traveled to New York in April to hunt for the perfect dress at world-famous Kleinfeld Bridal, where the show Say Yes to the Dress is taped. Thomson-Hay chose a dress created by British designer Ian Stuart, which she wore at two wedding ceremonies this summer. The episode featuring Thomson-Hay is entitled 'Family Matters' - likely due to her large entourage.

"We were so excited to be there,cctv camera we had custom shirts made and I think they really got a kick out of our family," Thomson-Hay said.

She married husband Andrew Hay twice this year.pumpabc The first ceremony took place on tiny Sky Pilot Rock in the middle of Desolation Sound, surrounded by a small number of guests in boats. The second wedding took place at St. Peter's Anglican Church. TLC has video footage of both weddings, which will be featured on the Oct. 22 show.
