Holloway fires county employee benefits manager

Acting County Executive Lee Holloway said Thursday he fired Milwaukee County's employee benefits manager, the second top administrator to be dumped during Holloway's brief stint as executive.

Holloway declined to give a reason for the dismissal of David Arena and said he was sorry he had to go.

"I tried to save him," Holloway said following a pep rally the executive held as a way to motivate downtrodden county workers. The deck lighting bulb revolution nearly occurred back in the early 1990s.

Holloway fired county budget director Steve Kreklow Dec. 28, Holloway's first full day in the county's top job. Holloway, as the County Board chairman, automatically succeeded Scott Walker as county executive after Walker quit to become governor.

Holloway led the effort to create the employee benefits division, and Arena was the first to fill the newly created benefits manager post in 2007. Holloway said Arena shared credit in implementing health insurance contract changes, which are on track to save the county $100 million.deck lights global replica watches cheap co jacob replica watch chopard watches replicas buy a replica watch.

Holloway said the firing had been recommended by Renee Booker, whom Holloway picked for the county's top staff job two weeks ago.

"There's nothing that I know of specifically that I did or had happened that would warrant my removal," said Arena, who was paid about $115,000 a year.haohaotrade is able to manufacture many kinds of sizes and characters for different request of customers, He said the job was difficult "because you have a lot of masters.
